Allure Homme Sport Superleggera — Still Unmistakably Chanel

I really like this one. Straight up. And that’s not something I say lightly about a flanker, because most flankers exist to sell you something you already own with a slightly different label.

This isn’t that. It’s lighter, softer than the rest of the Allure Homme Sport line — noticeably so. But it hasn’t lost the thing that makes the line recognisable in the first place. You smell this and you know instantly it’s Chanel, and you know it’s part of this family. That’s not easy to pull off. Make something too different and you lose the identity. Make it too similar and what’s the point releasing it. This sits right in that gap — different enough to justify existing, close enough that it still belongs.

So is it worth picking up alongside — or instead of — the others in the line?

If you already like Allure Homme Sport and want something a touch softer and more refined for warmer weather or daytime wear, yeah, this earns its spot. It’s not reinventing the line, it’s refining it. And honestly, that restraint is what makes it work.

Rating: 9.1/10

Genuinely one I reach for. Doesn’t try too hard, doesn’t need to.

If you’re curious how it actually compares side by side with the standard Allure Homme Sport, that’s worth sampling both together rather than guessing from notes alone.

Thanks for reading.
